MD series with magnetic sensors

Idroteck's MD Series of tie rod cylinders has the same mechanical and dimensional characteristics as the CD Series but differs due to a permanent magnet fitted inside the piston.

This system produces a magnetic field that extends outside the sleeve, which is made of a special non-magnetic alloy and internally smoothed to H8 standard with a Ra 0.4 finish. The magnetic field follows the movement of the piston throughout the entire stroke, activating one or more sensors fixed along the sleeve.

The sensors detect the passage of the magnetic field, generating precise and reliable electrical signals, ideal for applications that require continuous position or progress monitoring.
